You’ve probably heard me talk about this before, and that’s because it’s truly one of the simplest yet most impactful habits for your hormones, metabolism, and mood.

When you get natural sunlight exposure first thing in the morning — directly on your eyes (without sunglasses or contact lenses) — you help set your circadian rhythm, the body’s internal clock that governs your energy, sleep, and hormone balance.

This gentle morning light helps regulate so much more than just sleep hormones like melatonin and cortisol — it also supports thyroid, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone production.
